Discovery Semiconductors expands its RF amplifier product line by adding a Wideband Linear Differential Amplifier and a Wideband Limiting Differential Amplifier up to bandwidths of 20 GHz.
1) The Wideband Linear Differential Amplifier features adjustable gain and bandwidth and has a frequency range of 30 kHz through 20 GHz. This multi-functional differential amplifier is useful for several applications such as optical as well as RF communications and general test setups, where optimization of gain and bandwidth are advantageous.
2) The Wideband Limiting Differential Amplifier can operate up to 20 GHz, either single ended or differential, with a 30 kHz low frequency cutoff. This easy-to-use amplifier is designed for optical as well as RF communications, where speed and high gain in low signal level applications is desired.
All of Discovery’s RF amplifier gain blocks are powered from a single regulated internal +5V DC supply. Furthermore, it may be powered from a +9V DC battery for up to 10 hours.
