2 Micron InGaAs Photodiodes and Optical Receivers
Discovery Semiconductors has a long, successful history with the commercialization of high speed, 2.2 um cutoff, uncooled, InGaAs SWIR photoreceivers. We introduced our
DSC R202 PIN+TIA Receiver in February 2002 for the LIDAR community. In 2012, we expanded our product portfolio to include high speed photodiodes up to 20 GHz, and
Linear Balanced Photoreceivers up to 18 GHz. These new receiver products will nicely complement the rapid advances in the 2.05 fiber lasers, thus spinning off new applications in diverse areas such as biomedicine, as well as environmental sensing.
